Halong Bay, Vietnam - October 2025 HD

We are Jim and Tony (he's the tall white guy), two old work colleagues visiting Vietnam for the first time. We met in 1987 while working at the same design firm in Washington, DC. My wife is disabled so traveling on such a long journey is not possible. So, at 60 when I decided to visit the country where I was born, I knew who to contact.These three videos captured some of our brief time in Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, and Ho Chi Minh City. Da Nang and Hoi An were also in our itinerary but unfortunately, central Vietnam was flooded by several typhoons (the worst since 1964). Needless to say, we fell in love with Vietnam and plan to return in the near future. Hopefully next time it will be for at least a month.
